From humble beginnings in 1991, supplying donuts to local takeaway stores, we’ve grown into an award-winning, large-scale bakery manufacturer based in Wigram, Christchurch.
Today, our purpose-built facility employs over 200 dedicated staff, crafting a delicious range of cakes, donuts, slices, muffins, cookie pies and more.
We’re proud to be a leading name in the New Zealand baking industry, and our treats can be found in major supermarkets and food service distributors across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. We also offer private label products.
Jane Mayell purchased Original Donuts, a small donut business located at Wilsons Road.
After outgrowing our first site, we moved to Saxon Street with our now 20 team members. Mike Sproule joined Jane forming the ultimate team!
We started making our Chocolate Round Cakes all the way back in 1995!
